Missing SID/STAR RPVM

Ever since the latest airac cycle 2507, RPVM has no SIDs and STARs in the MCDU/FMC

Not sure what the issue is after the latest cycle

RPVM has had two runways runway since the second runway was completed in early 2024, but it has remained closed ever since. However (as per wikipedia), the “old” runway is about to undergo maintenance, which probably explains why the new one was “activated” in the latest cycle.

Thus, there is now a mismatch between the database provided by Navigraph (for runways 04L/22R and 04R/22L) and the runways available in the scenery packs (04/22), and as a result, the simulator cannot assign the procedures to the runways.

Most aircraft using an external database (such as the Fenix A320 series) are immune to this issue (because they source runway information from their database rather than the scenery packs); however, you want to make sure not to plan for 04L/22R (the new runway): if you program an approach for that runway it’s likely the runway may not exist in the scenery

Thanks for sharing and yes I am aware of the new runways in place. As such, I’ve tried it with the Freeware scenery from flightsim.to which gives me the option for the new rwys of 04L and 22R. However, it still leaves me with empty SIDs and STARs. In the previous airac cycle, these new rwys were already available as well, but I did not have any such issues with missing SIDs and STARs. Could it be a bug by Navigraph ?

I somehow doubt it, but you never know.

It does look like the freeware is indeed supposed to have the new runways (I didn’t expect it to be updated so quickly):

I am not at home right now, so I cannot test it. I’ll try to remember to give it a try when I get back home in a few days.

Hi,
I have tried Tim´s link with the RPVM freeware scenery (which includes the new runway, so 04LR/22L/R), and I see SIDs and STARs in MSFS2020:

Sids:

Stars:

Iaps:

So, it´s not a navdata issue, it is either a configuration issue or a scenery issue.
Cheers,
Richard

Richard,

Thanks for the reply, I’ll test it out again once I’m home as I’m currently out right now. And will see if I can get a couple of screenshots if it’s still missing some SIDs and STARs
