Meigs field - kcgx

Hi

I noted that MS2024 has KCGX as standard & tried to plan a route from there to KJFK. However, SIMBRIEF does not appear to include Meigs Field.

I am aware that it has been closed for over 20 years; however, can an exception be made here?

Hi David,
We would when we have the data, but we haven’t, so we can’t add it, sorry.

We need such tailored data in a unique format (ARINC424) because such data may not be offered in only one dataset.

To plan a flight from there is only halfway when you don’t find it in any 3rd party addon.

… but we will look, what we can do for you :wink: and the community

Hi David,
Just a quick update to this: we (special thanks to Derek) have found a way. We will test it and try to add KCGX starting with the next cycle, 2413, for all addons/datasets

I will keep you informed when the testing is finished, and the solution works.

Finally, you can expect Meigs Field with the next AIRAC cycle 2413, from Simbrief to all addon datasets.
