KZZV - Ground Class E airspace around the airport?

I was flying into the airspace of KZZV - Navigraph charts - shows this as ‘E GND-17999’

Am I reading this correct - ground to 17999ft around KZZV is class E.

As I’m VFR, and it is Class E, this means I do not require clearance and technically can fly right over KZZV - is this correct?

Hello!

Correct, as long as you are VFR, you are not required to contact ATC. Any IFR traffic will need to get a clearance, though!
