Import to MSFS bug/issues

Hello:

I’m not sure if this is a simbrief issue, a GPS issue, or a MSFS issue.

But here is my route:

KPIE/18 DCT MCF DCT TRV BR62V ZFP BR70V MRRSH DCT MYAM/09

When I open this flight plan in MSFS and it automatically loads into the GPS, all the waypoints on the airways are listed as direct.

If you manually load the flight plan in the GPS, after TRV, it shows “airway” to the exit fix.

Also, if you load the simbrief flight plan into MSFS, editing the route basically becomes INOP. For example if you try to load the RNAV RY9 HONEX transition for MYAM, you get an " Active Flight Plan desynchronized" error message and cannot clear it.

Hi,

It’s possible it’s a bug in the GPS, I’ve seen other reports in the MSFS forums about the “Active Flight Plan desynchronized” message occurring other times as well.

One easy way to check would be to save the flight plan from the GPS or within the MSFS menu, and then trying to load it as you would a SimBrief plan. If it still causes the same issue then it likely isn’t related to SimBrief.
