Had now several times (not every cycle) an install with corrupted database … Would be great if the install routine can check after download is finished, if the file is ok and not corrupted…
I Checked with DBbrowser…
Hi,
Thank you, I have moved this request to our wishlist. We will consider it, depending on the counts.
Besides this request, I highly recommend checking your internet connection and/or settings on your PC (ex., MTU, …) because when a download is corrupted, the download itself on your system fails.
The files on our backend server are correct and not corrupt. So something must happen between us and you. It’s not a corrupt file that we offer.
Thanks, and have a nice weekend
Richard
PS: I have also changed your title to make the wish clearer
Thank you for your reply Richard and appreciated and I understand what you trying to say, but there is always a but.
Let me elaborate, I’m using Navigraph since 2004 and gone through several types of internet connections and here in the Netherlands we have one of the best networks in the world.
I downloaded for first manually back in the days and later via the different software options.
Nowadays 1000mbit fast stable connection to the net and via Navigraph hub. What puzzles me is I downloaded several different databases for MSFS via Navigraph Hub, but only this one has the issues as described in MSFS. As an IT guy I find the basic is minimal a file check before installation and actually is the minimal to do certainly now in 2025. The manual download is always perfect with the exception of some data issues, but you guys are always fast with a version 1 or even 2 to solve the issue. So it seems more a Navigraph hub issue as anything else because form all the databases we have a particular one with issues. Just after using so long Navigraph I dare to say I have a good idea how it behave at my different systems and internet connections through time… It would be a coincidence that during only this database the connection has issues and the rest is always fine.
Cheers,
Forgot to mention this is for MSFS
