Any news about this issue? It’s very bad having to activate on every flight.
Yes it is annoying and we too hope for a fix, but none so far.
Cheers

Yes, this is a severe issue for me. The usual sequence, always in multiplayer VR:
- Realize I need something that only Navigraph provides
- Open the navigraph panel from the msfs toolbar
- Awkwardly position my VR headset to point at the scannable navigraph code on my TV
- Aim my IPhone at the jiggling code while I hold the VR headset on my brow to see
- Put my controller down and type/retype my username/password on the Navigraph site (squinting because I took off my glasses before I donned the VR headset)
- Finally hit the allow button before returning to my now distant mates, if I haven’t crashed
At this point I’d take any of the following:
- Persist my login on navigraph.com so I don’t have to constantly re-login
- Make the code bigger so my iPhone camera can see it across the room
- Allow me to click a link in the msfs panel that opens a browser window
Thanks for listening…
Hi Chris,
We hear you but it requires a fix from MS/ASOBO which we are waiting for.
As a workaround, before you put your VR set on, maybe try clicking on the navigraph.com/code link , which will open a browser windows for login.

That worked nicely. Didn’t know you could click the code. That’s a lot fewer steps now.
Thanks!
Hi Chris,
You are welcome.
Happy flying

The CHARTS app saves credentials, but sign in is needed each time (QR code or web site with code) for the In-Game Panel (and PSM50 GTN750); this is frustrating and messes with immersion.
Would it be possible to have these credentials saved to prevent the need to sign in each time?

I have searched and found no solution to this. I’m sure you’re aware of it but maybe unaware of what a deal breaker it is.
Literally every time one starts an MSFS session and attempts to view the in game charts, we have to log in.
And the process means either breaking out of MSFS into a browser or scanning a QR code which means the device you scan with has to be re-logged in.
Surely there must be some solution to this.
I’m at the stage now where I’m just not using Navigraph very much as it just breaks the immersion so badly. So next comes cancelling subscription.
Please don’t take this badly. It is intended as constructive criticism with the hope that the extra step can be taken to keep customers happy.
I have read you saying it is MSFS that is at fault. Maybe a little more explanation on that one and we can work on a fix using a mod of some kind.
Thank you.
EDIT. Very disappointing.
I get my post moved to a locked thread that was started 8 months ago, and a copy/paste reply which shows my post has not been read, at least not correctly. I already mentioned logging in through the browser. And I already saw the “fix from Asobo required”, as also mentioned in my text above.
I was trying to be positive and asking for a little more info. As a paying customer is that too much to ask?
Locked thread. No discussion allowed. No fix or attempt to discuss, in the last 8 months…
Sorry guys but this is not a great customer experience.

Hi,
Not sure what information you are after - there is no way to securely persist login credentials in the simulator. There are several ways to store data insecurely but this is not acceptable to us and our users.
Malte and several other has replied to this in the past, most recently here: Navigraph in-game panel not bringing up log-in screen for charts - #19 by skysail
If your phone has stored you Navigraph account credentials you only need to scan and press Allow, no additional sign-in required. It breaks immersion, but literally only for a button press on your phone.
Regards,
Stephen
Every new session when I open up Charts within MSFS I have to use the QR Code and reauthenticate…
This can’t be normal and is such a pain - Ideas?
