FMS/VNV problem in Longitude

I used SimBrief to plan a MSFS2020 flight in the Longitude. SimBriefUploader uploaded it and I loaded it into the FMS with no apparent issues. Everything seemed normal until I noticed there wasn’t a TOD marker on the arrival flight path. I was in VNV mode with the altitude set too the arrival’s exit altitude and was expecting the FMS to descend as specified by the altitude settings for each waypoint in the arrival, but it wasn’t. It was as if the FMS just ignored all the altitude settings and didn’t realize it was suppose to be descending.

I’ve done this sort of thing before and it worked as expected. The only things I know of which were different was that I uploaded the flight plan using SimBriefUploader and loaded it via the avionics and this flight plan ended with the arrival (there was no approach).

Everything (PC, MSFS2020, and Navigraph tools) were fully updated to current versions.

Thanks for your help,

Larry

Hi Larry,

There are a number of reports on the internet of the Longitude not displaying TOD. I don’t believe it is a Navigation Data issue. Best to ask in the MSFS forum.

Cheers
Ian

Ok, I flew a different flight today and everything worked as expected. I’ll do the same one again and see if it was just a fluke and otherwise see if anyone knows anything about it on the MSFS forums.

Thanks,

Larry
