FMS downloader is not connected

FMS downloader is not connected and always keep getting me an error that unable to reach the website

Also, if I want to download the installer the downloading speed is 18 KB/s


We are not aware of any issues affecting the SimBrief website specifically. It’s possible there is an issue at your ISP or somewhere between your ISP and the SimBrief server. Sometimes these issues resolve on their own within a few hours or days.

If it doesn’t improve in a few days, I recommend contacting your ISP for support. They will be better equipped to examine the network and determine where the slowdown is occurring.

In the mean time, if you’d like to get the downloader working, please generate your flights with the “Flight Maps” option set to “None”. This will significantly reduce the flight plan size and should prevent the Downloader from giving a Connection Error message.
