Flight plan disconnect when no transition showing in the SID's

Hi there all. I am struggling with getting the SID and sometimes the STAR connected to the Auto route that was generated either in Simbrief or in Charts. This leaves me with a disconnect for the flight plan and a nice dotted line(s)… I have tried to manually add DCT between the SID and the first point but it won’t take it as valid.

an example of CYYC → KSEA
CYYC RW35R CWBOY2 DUMRA Q890 UKRAL Q890 MEKPI DCT TWIGY DCT GEG GLASR3 ILS16C (PAE) KSEA
Disconnects between CWBOY2 and DUMRA and GLASR3 and ILS16C (PAE)

an example of CYVR -. KSEA
CYVR RW26L GRG6 ROESH MARNR7 ILS16C (GRIFY) KSEA
Disconnect between GRG6 and ROESH

from what I can see, the SID doesn’t have a transition in it (none of the SID’s do).
How do I add a transition or fix this user (ME) error.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!!

Both the CWBOY2 and GLASR3 end in vectors (as depicted on the charts), so it’s normal/expected that there is a discontinuity. There is nothing to fix.

I real life, air traffic control will give you vectors to reach DUMRA and later to set you up on your final approach course (which vectors will depend on the traffic situation at the airport, among other things). In the sim if you’re flying offline you’ll have to do that yourself (with the help of charts and the map).

Tim

Thanks, very much appreciated… Could not figure out what I was doing wrong in building out the flight plan.
