Because Xbox is a closed system, there are some restrictions on Navigraph apps running on Xbox. In general, Navigraph is not present on the Xbox Marketplace, and therefore it is not possible to install standalone Navigraph apps such as Charts In-Game Panel, Avionics Plugin, Simlink or Hub. This means that:
- We can’t update the simulator default navigation data on Xbox.
- Default aircraft G1000, G3000 and G5000 can’t install the avionics plugin to enable Charts integration on Xbox.
- The Charts In-Game Panel cannot be installed on Xbox
- Simlink cannot be installed so moving maps can’t be used with default aircraft on Xbox
However, third party addon developers who publish aircraft on the Xbox Marketplace may include Navigraph code that enable the above features, to the extent they wish to do so. Such third party aircraft and their level of integration on Xbox are listed on Flight Simulation Charts on Xbox , for example:
- FlightFX HJet and SF50 Vision Jet
- Just Flight 146 Professional and Piper Fleet
- Latin VFR A330-900 Neo
- FSReborn FSR500
- LivToAir AeroMobil 3.0
