EGSS/EGGW STAR selection

Hi - me again!

Noticed quite a few flights into Stansted EGSS and Luton EGGW from the east with flightplans ending at LOGAN for the LOGAN 2A low-level STAR. As per the EUROCONTROL RAD, flights with an RFL of 110 or above should end at RINIS / XAMAN / TOSVA for the respective STARs from these waypoints.

Is it possible to remove the routes that end in LOGAN? Or at least for most of the longer flights that would have a cruise above 110?

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but is there any chance of doing a clear out of old/invalid routes for EGGW and EGSS please?

  • Anything ending at LOGAN for the LOGAN2A, as per the OP, is only valid for flights cruising below FL110 (generally non-jet a/c)
  • Any routes ending at IDESI should now end at RINIS / XAMAN / TOSVA (as of AIRAC 2105 when the IDESI STARs were withdrawn)
