Hello
I know that there are already several solutions to this problem but I’m a scene developer and I’d like people who don’t download scenes not to have a double runway problem.
Do you have a solution?
thank you !
Erwan.
Hi Erwan,
The Navigraph Hub re-order the sceneries in the correct way by itself. When you want it manually, you must use the MSFS in game re-order tool.
But the recommended way is to use the Navigraph Hub, which runs in the background and do all the stuff for you.
The screenshot looks very offset, which scenery is this? Is LFOT an stock airport too or doesn’t this airport exist in MSFS?
Cheers
Richard
Hello,
Thank you for your response.
I have created an addon for LFOT (Tours Val de Loire Airport) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, but I had to shift the runway to the right to match the aerial images.
The problem is that in the editor mode, I only see my runway, so everything looks fine. However, once I export it, I see both runways, which bothers me because I fear that people who download my scenery will also see both runways.
… in this case, you must set your package at the end of the content.xml
file, but with that you loose all terminal procedure to this airport (which is also included in our update files). It´s a little bit strange that a scenery designer don´t use reality values due areal images, because with that “solution” no navigation facility will work properly - but it is at it is.
Again, the only solution is, to set your package at the end - which means, that this package will be loaded on last and overwrite all previous packages/settings.
Hope that helps
Richard
Agreed.
Thank you for your reply.
I had to do it this way because LFOT is a military base and the ground had no aerial images but the ones I managed to import said that the runway was slightly to the right.
