Charts to EFB

Trying to synchronise my EFB to Navigraph charts and keep getting this error message…

Can you tell me what is wrong, please?
Until a couple of days ago my system worked perfectly for years.

Me too. None of my MSFS EFBs now sync with Navigraph (PMDG 738, 300ER, Just Flight BAE146, Inibuilds A300). All fail to get Navigraph charts and do not provide a code to reconnect to Navigraph.

Hi Team,

Two only reports and both from Great Britain. I suggest this might be an ISP issue. Please try connecting via mobile phone hotspot to see if this is the issue.

Cheers
Ian

Dear Ian of Navigraph,
Many thanks for your email. Sorry to be a pain but I’m very old and have no idea what an ISP is and neither do I have any knowledge of a “hot spot” mobile telephone sight near me to integrate AviTab-0.7.1. I was hoping Navigraph would have a patch to fix what is wrong with my machine but reading between the lines of your message I fear it is in the UK and my contact with my browser that is wrong.
So my answer is to use the “new” Navigraph charts to navigate around the sky. So why have I not used Navigraph “new” charts yet? Well frankly they produce far more information than I use, the AviTab (0.5.1) I have used up until now converts the Simbrief so fast (including both the STAR & SID) and navigating around a big airport is more challenging than flying there. I found I did not need all the options the new charts provided. I’m sorry to have wasted your time but rest assured I would have a miserable retirement if it was not for my simulator and your company’s charts to make life very easy for me.
Regards Stephen Hewitt.

Hi Stephen,

We recommend you update to the latest version of AviTab.

ISP is short for Internet Service Provider - the company who provides your connection to the internet. (might be a telephone company). Maybe there is a restriction from your ISP permitting connection to Navigraph
To try a different connection to the internet, you can set you mobile phone up to provide a “hotspot”. You can look this up on the internet.

We definitely don’t want you miserable in retirement. Flight Sim is a fascinating pastime, and occasionally needs a bit of tweaking.

Cheers
Ian

Hi.

Thanks

Yes, connecting via my mobile phone allowed me to get a qr code to reconnect.

What should I ask my ISP to do? They obviously changed something recently as it had been working for a long time

Actually, reconnecting to my ISP after connecting to my phone seems to have sorted it. (Could it be some residual network info being kept in your code?)

Thanks

Hi Stephen,

We are glad you have resolved the connection issue. Sometimes changing the connection and then reverting can clear blockages .

Happy flying

Ian
