I have been using Navigraph for more than a year without any issues. I changed my default browser from Firefox to Brave about a month ago. Then the Simlink function, though running, was no longer detected by the Charts. Now, I can no longer log in to Charts, Hub, nor the FMS Data Manager, nor log into my account through Brave (I must go through Firefox). I get the following error message : “Unable to sign in with device flow. Network Error”.
I have added Navigraph folders in my program files as well as the website to Bitdefender exceptions with no change.
A clarification to my earlier post: it is possible to log on to Navigraph through my Firefox browser, but not my desktop links, nor my Fenix A320 EFB. The application is thus useless for me and I will be forced to unsubscribe. I have given Navigraph all the security permissions I can find in Bitdefender, tested the apps with Bitdefender paused, uninstalled and reinstalled the applications, but no positive result.
Another clue to my log-in problem: I CAN log in to Simbrief and every other application on my computer (Fenix and BeyondATC) without any problems. Does Navigraph use another protocol?
Hi Ian,
Nothing has changed. Although I can log in to the Navigraph website, it is impossible to log on to your desktop applications. I run Bitdefender and have made every effort to give your apps access, but there must be something that I have missed and cannot identify. It appears that you use some logon protocol that is different from all the other (and varied) applications I use, because why is it that only yours don’t work? Fenix A320 works, but no info from Simbrief/Navigraph received in the EFB or MCDU. See the attached screenshots as well as those sent in the previous posting. Navigraph error (2).docx (10.6 MB)
I also removed almost all my addons from the Community folder and put them in a Community_Disabled folder to eliminate them as the source of the problem.
I managed to run FMS Data Manager for my old FSX apps. No other desktop apps work, nor in the Fenix A320 addon. The web-based charts app works, but that is pretty much useless as there is no integration with Fenix.
Hello Ian,
I diligently followed your instructions and used my mobile phone’s hotspot. It worked! The problem was thus my router. I updated its firmware and voila! All works normally now. Apparently, the router has its own firewall and it could not handle your new protocols. I won’t waste your time with all the screenshots (in a 5.5 Mb Word file) that led me there unless you request them.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Cheers!
Charles
