I tried to create a plan using an upcoming nav and was delighted to see the map correctly handle significant points. But on generation I get
Fatal Error: Please enter a route when using identical departure and arrival airports
It reproduces every time so, just to rule out that it isn’t me here is the route.
Dep YSBK Arr YSBK Route WAD083011/N0110A025 WAD/N0110A045 WAD281015/N0110A065 YBTH/N0110A075 NPBR/N0110A035 PSP/N0110A015
The route validator happily returns correctly with
Your route is valid for AIRAC 2309!
Route distance: 150 nm
so I am confused where the bug might sit but it’s definetly not generating in the current build Version 2.16.0 (331)
In this case, it should be solved if you enable the Navlog option:
That got it working. Thanks!
I’ll also be updating it shortly so that your
/N0110A065 custom step climbs are recognized. Currently it only recognizes
/N0110F065 for example.
Also note that when defining custom step climbs, you may also want to specify an initial altitude. Either by entering it in the “Altitude” option, or by beginning the route with a separate altitude/speed notation, for example:
N0110A025 YSBK WAD083011/N0110A025 WAD/N0110A045 WAD281015/N0110A065 YBTH/N0110A075 NPBR/N0110A035 PSP/N0110A015 YSBK
Just to follow up, the above has been updated now.
