I’m flying the iniBuilds A350 and BKPR Pristina (Kosovo) is showing up as “Not in Database”.
I get get the charts up on my iOS app, and the FMGC is accepting it as a valid airport. But when I try to select it in the Nav Display, it says it can’t find it. I’ve searched by ICAO, IATA and City name, I’ve also used the old ICAO code LYPR.
What this means is the airport is NOT in the Jeppesen AMDB (Airport Mapping DataBase), which contains detailed data about runways and exit points required for e.g. the Brake-to-vacate feature.
There is no centralized list of AMDB-covered airports, but you can check the coverage (or lack thereof) for a specific airport here:
That’s correct, but it has nothing to do with “access.” This airport simply does not exist in any worldwide AMDB data. Most of the major airports exist in the AMDB database, but not smaller ones.
The link from Tim to check if an airport is included in the AMDB or not is a good reference:
Here is the syntax: https://navigraph.com/airport/<airport icao identifier>
