Are 'published holds' part of Navdata?

I have a rather basic question, yet it is unclear to me: Are ‘published holds’ in STARs part of Navdata, similar to holds after a missed approach?

I’m asking, because neither the A320 (“database” hold is unavailable in the FMC) nor the B738 (course doesn’t match if I need to hold) I’m using seem to be aware of it.

Hi,
yes, we have published holdings in our database but it depends on the addon, if it supports these holdings or not. As an example the iFly 737 supports such holdings, but the Wilco 737 not.

So, the answer us … it depends :wink:
