Adding Transition into STAR List

Hello,

I have a feature request for STAR selection espacially for LTFM. LTFM has different transitions that needs to be selected otherwise independent parallel approaches can not be executed. Most of the pilots are confused about transitions and if it’s shown on the FPL combined with STAR it would be very helpful for pilots and the ATC’s as well. Transitions are always the same because STAR’s end at the same IAF.

Here is the list incase this can be added:

  • ATPIX2A = SADIK

  • ATPIX2N = IMREN

  • AYTEK2A/2Q = IMREN

  • DRAMO2A = IMREN

  • ERSEN2A/2Q = SADIK

  • INBET2A = IMREN

  • RILEX2A = IMREN

  • RILEX2N = SADIK

  • RIXEN2A = IMREN

  • RIXEN2N = SADIK

  • SISPI2A = SADIK

  • ATPIX2B = DIVDI

  • AYTEK2B/2P = INSTA

  • DRAMO2B = INSTA

  • DRAMO2P = DIVDI

  • ERSEN2B/2R = DIVDI

  • ERSEN2P = INSTA

  • INBET2B = INSTA

  • INBET2P = DIVDI

  • RILEX2A = INSTA

  • RIXEN2B = INSTA

  • RIXEN2P = DIVDI

  • SISPI2A = DIVDI

  • SISPI2P = INSTA

If we can add these transitions combined with STAR that would be very usefull for everyone.

For example:

  • RILEX2A.IMREN
  • RILEX2AxIMREN

The RILEX2A seemingly always ends at IMREN, and then you’re supposed to select the IMREN approach transition into whichever final approach you’re flying. This problem is not LTFM-specific; it’s sad that many VATSIM users don’t properly select the approach transition but I don’t see how it would be Simbrief’s responsibility to work around it.

It doesn’t have to be a responsibility but could be a guide for these kind o situations. Most of the users use Simbrief so it’s an easier way to show them the correct procedures.
