Hi,
Welcome to Navigraph.

Can you describe briefly what you have tried and what OS you have? Have you used the FMS Data Manager or the Manual Installer from the webpage?

Further, what is the root folder of your XP11 installation? Do you have multiple versions installed or only one?

Thank you
Richard

Hi,
my OS is windows 11 home.

Hi,
Thank you for the information. Can you confirm that the FlightSimBuilder GNS530 uses the X-Plane default or GNS430 data?

We don’t know this hardware, and I haven’t found any information about the data, so I’m curious if you have more information. Do you have a link/reference where we can see which data/which data format is necessary to support this hardware unit?

Thank you
Richard

i have emailed flightsimbuilder for that info, what can i try to fix this problem.this is really a waste of money if i can not fix this.

I would suggest waiting for their answer first. After that, we will decide together on the next steps. Is this a plan for you?

Cheers
Richard

Hi again,
Thank you very much for this confirmation.

I have re-read your posting, and you wrote that you have created a GNS folder under the Custom Data folder. Your XP11 root folder is c:\x-plane 11.5, and you don´t have any backup or multiple copies of XP11 on your system. I want to make sure that we have the same understanding.

Can you post a screenshot of your c:\x-plane 11.5\Custom Data folder, please, like mine:

To install the data for the XP11/12 GNS430:

  1. goto onto our webpage and download the X-Plane GNS430 package

  2. unpack this file into your c:\x-plane 11.5\Custom Data\GNS430 folder

As a result, you should see the following under c:\x-plane 11.5\Custom Data\GNS430:

In the navdata subfolder you should see:

Do you have the same structure? The same files? Can you also post screenshots of these folders?

Last question:
When you open the stock/default C172 with the GNS530/430 in XP11, do you see the same “navdata out of date” message?

Here is a screenshot from my XP11 C172:

Thank you,
Richard

PS: I have also opened a case at FlightSimBuilder, where I asked which data they use and from where because the answer in your screenshot is not 100% clear to me.

Thanks again for the screenshot - I’m not sure why you posted it again …

They don´t mention in their mail which data or the location of the data; therefore, as I have written before, I have opened a case again to get an answer to these important questions.

For me, all the other questions (requested screenshots of the different folders, …) I ask are important. Thank you!

Cheers
Richard

Hi again,
As I learned from another topic here, could it be that your time in X-Plane is not in sync with real-world time? Can you please check this?

Here is a screenshot, of where you can do this (in the top menu click on FlightFlight Configuration):

Thank you very much,
Richard
