Wrong procedure data in VHHX

Hi there,
Accroding to this screenshots, when using X-Plane CL650 for flight, the waypoint description code C at code 3 cannot be recognized.
APPCH:060,G,G13, ,MM13,VH,P,C,E RM, , ,TF, ,KL,VH,P,I, ,2877,0004,0880,0036, ,00610, , , , ,-310, , , , , , ,0,N,S;

When I refer to ARINC 424-18 document, Code 3 doesn’t contain any value for C.

So could you please give this issue another look? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
The CIFP files are coded against ARINC424-20. I’m not sure what you mean by C because the error message shows an R in the third column. But anyway, both are correct according to the ARINC 424- 20 specification.

C => ATC Compulsory Report Point
R=> Fix used for turning final approach

Please report this to the third-party addon developers so they can implement the correct ARINC 424 version. The coding is accurate so far.

I hope that helps.
Richard

From the aircraft developer on Discord:

I really wish folks first asked me before bothering Navigraph. Code ‘R’ is simply from a newer ARINC revision than what was implemented in the avionics. Also: it’s already implemented for the next update.

This data was originally written in ARINC 424 v18 and is still acceptable data as far as I am aware. The PC classification is correct with P referring to “airport data” and C refers to “Terminal waypoint” classification. See table 5.1 in the V18 standard.
