To provide some transparency, we are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. We use the provided MSFS data storage utility, which has always had issues with persistence in some cases. We are prioritizing 2024 addon development at the moment, but after we get things out of beta, we will resolve this. The plan is to create our own data storage via WASM, and use that solution for both 2020 and 2024 (as the datastore persistence issue still seems to be present there).
Not only is it consistent between sim restarts, I have to re-sign in between EVERY FLIGHT in the same restart.
P.S. I do not have the cookies for third-party providers enabled on my account.
In addition to the constant sign in issue, I regularly(every time) get my simbrief flight plan auto-load rejected withā¦
āAn unexpected error occurred when importing a flight from Simbrief.
error: FacilityLoader: facility could not be retrieved forā¦.followed by a couple waypoints.ā
Any idea what the problem is?
Same issue here.
SimHub seems to time out if the sim (FS2020) is running but not in a flight
The button to sign in again doesnāt work, so I have to go back to the Home screen, then back to SimHub to āsign outā (pilot id is greyed out).
Then itās back to the QR Code.
I mostly close using the āClose to Desktopā button bottom-left.
Within MSFS2024 I remain signed in to Navigraph. All well and good.
So why do I have to repeatedly sign back in to Simbrief ?
Constantly logged out.
Having been logged out and presented with the authentication window I clicked there a few times and was directed to the approve screen.
Allowed me to sign back in without the need to input the code.
Update - today the problem appears to have been resolved.
Started the sim and found I was logged in to Simbrief.
Also discovered that while in VR and hitting the tab key to display the tablet I can now display the toolbar allowing changes to the time of day for example.
