vUSAF Operation Deep Freeze Antarctica Airports

Hi there,

I’m the AMC & ODF Commander of Operation Deep Freeze with VSOA vusaf.us and many of our pilots are finding it difficult to create flight plans to some of these fields/iceways. For example AT13/NZTB/A1T9/AQ40/AQ39/AQ38/AQ95/AQ30/AQ41/AQ40 aren’t showing.

Please could we request these be added expeditiously, to ensure smooth operations?

While not speaking for SB, looking in my carrier’s Jeppesen FDPro (and Jepp is the underlying data for SB), we only have YWKS, NZSP, SCGC, NZFX and NZWD as airports, and of those only YWKS has a published instrument approach.

Tailored procedures or private airfields don’t exist in public databases.

@dougsnow is right, we also haven’t this data in our source, nor any special military airfields. Sorry.
