Unable to access FMS Data for XP12

Hello,
I have Navigraph Charts V8.35.0 “Unlimited” and thought this would give me access to FMS Data for X-Plane12 but when I run the FMS Data Manager it says I do not have access to FMS Data. Is this a separate additional subscription or should I be able to access FMS Data?

Thanks

Hi James,

Welcome.

Make sure you have your country code entered in your subscribed account.

In the latest FMS Data Manager Settings, Unsubscribe and re login. Any improvement?

Otherwise, please do a complete uninstall and reinstall of FMS Data Manager exactly as at Unable to log in to FMS Data Manager - #2 by Ian.

Cheers

Ian

Hi Ian,
Thanks very much for your prompt response. That worked a treat as I now have accurate FMS Data in X-Plane 12 that exactly matches my Navigraph charts on my iPad.

I now want to run Simlink on my pc but can’t see how to open the app. If I try to run it I’m told that it is already running but I can’t see it anywhere on the screen.

Lastly, I tried running Navigraph Hub after starting XP12 on the same pc. It appears as a window on my pc with “Navigraph Hub” at the top but in the middle it says “No simulators found”. There are no menu items within the Hub window for me to choose.

Can you help me with these items please?

Thanks again

James

Navigraph Hub is for Microsoft Flight Simulator only, not X-Plane.

Tim

That’s good to know Tim, thank you. How about the Simlink question, is the answer to that as easy? I feel I’m missing something.

James

Not sure about that, sorry.

Tim

Hi Jim,

Please try steps in Simlink either crashes or stays on waiting for authentication when signing in - #2 by Ian

OK, Ian. Thanks for that. After several cups of coffee and a good lay down I’ve realised that I’m looking for the right solution in the wrong place. I need to familiarise myself with Simbrief not Simlink, which was (and still is) working fine. I’ll take another look, find some videos and re-post if I get any problems.

Thanks again.

James.

Sorry Ian, one last thing. I use Simbrief and Charts on my iPad to generate a flight plan. I now know how to do that. How do I export that flight plan to X-Plane12 on my pc please?

Thanks

Jim

You need to run either NG Charts or open SimBrief (or Charts) in a browser on the PC. The export options will be available there.

Many third-party aircraft can also import the route automatically from Simbrief via a simulated ACARS connection.

Tim

Thanks Ian, all sorted.
