TFDi MD11 AIRAC Wont Install

After updating to the latest version of the TFDi MD11 I cannot get the AIRAC installed. I have NO at all navdata now.

I’ve checked tfdidesign-aircraft-md11\Data\Primary and the Primary folder is missing. I’ve checked for the tfdi-md11 folder that was incorrectly made in the past and that is not present, so it is not going into an incorrect folder.

If I manually create the Primary folder then update in Navigraph Hub, the Primary folder gets deleted.

When the Hub finishes installing, the “remove” button flashes to an “install” button after I click anywhere on the Hub. If I click install again, I get the yellow “installing” for a few seconds, and it goes back to “Install”. I never get the Primary folder back, it’s gone forever and the MD11 has no navdata at all.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the MD11 twice now, which has not fixed anything.

The hub doesn’t show me the path it is installing to, so I have no idea if it is even looking in the right location. When it does this install, it does take a while like normal, but where are the files going? It isn’t anywhere in my community folder…

I figured it out. I see Navigraph has “suspended” the addon. Imo this is pretty unacceptable to delete data and break an addon. If you wish to suspend an addon, the Hub should have the ability to prevent us from doing anything so this exact scenario (or wosrse) doesn’t happen. Fortunately, there appears to be a workaround.

Navigraph Hub is dumping the files into the Community folder.

Manually recreate the Primary folder
Find a folder called “ProcedureLegs” in the community folder and move it to the Primary folder.
Then find the .json files dumped into the community folder and move those to the Primary folder

It should look like this when finished:

Shout out to Kilian on the TFDi discord for finding this fix.

We have uploaded a new dataset file for the TFDi MD11 AIRAC 2504 revision 1, which should work without any workaround! Please open the Hub, reinstall the cycle, and let us know if it works now …

Thanks for your effort,
Richard

I just tried, it works perfectly now. Thank you

That’s great to hear. Thank you very much for your fast feedback, and I’m sorry for going the extra mile with the “workaround” you offered here!

Cheers,
Richard
