That would be a bad way to design software, I would say.
PMDG is not online during the fly, but the airac database is by navigraph (you can choose this), may be something happened with this kind of shut down making not possible anymore for PMDG fmc to read sid and star
yes, in any case the airplane shoul be able to operate separately and regardless of any kind of systems down as he has already downloaded all the database
Letās finish resolving the problem, then investigate, and then I can answer whether this is related or not. In principle, you are correct, that we should have minimal system dependencies.

I donāt know if it is reletad but I had game crushed after a long time.
Desktop application is still now fetcing any data btw.

Charts seem to load fine.
Charts not loading from Simbrief. Installed the App on the iPad several times. No luck.
