Some issues with this Betatest

Hi,

While flying for three hours on two legs on a groupflight yesterday evening (ENVA - ESSA - EVRA) I had some issues that I want to report. I had two Navigraph charts apps running on two Win10 PC’s, both had the same issues (but not at the same time).

  1. Several times I experience a severe lag and the applicationfreezed for 5 to 10 seconds, this happens now and then…in the three hours I think this happened 5 times.
  2. I experienced the Navigraph charts app to turn completely white (white app screen) and I had to restart the application.
  3. On ESSA I was not able to see the ATIS (While there was one), no ATIS (button was there to find and also not via the controllers link / name)

Something else that i found is that when using the chart overlay on the world map, the traffic around me (under the overlay) was not visible, turning the overlay to 70% made it a bit better but still very hard to see.

Happy with this new feature, normally I fly in VR but unfortunately the feature is not working in the ingame panel that i use in VR, so yesterday I flew in 2D. I run Vatsim Radar beside it during the Betatesting to be able to see something that i miss in the Charts app for now.

I’ve had the white app screen on every flight since the application was updated - each time during taxing in after a flight.

We are investigating the white app screen. We have added some additional logging on your accounts. Please write here if you see it again.

We are planning to change the layer order so that the online traffic appears on top of chart overlays.

Hello Stephen,

Yes I do…. The last time I used it was on a groupflight last Fridaynight and the screen went blank (white) once in 5 hours of flight. (So it does seem to occur less.)

Yes, at least twice on long-haul flights. Easy fix, but somewhat annoying.
