Simlink not running on windows 10 startup

To whom this may concern:
I’ve uninstalled and installed Simlink twice and still, simlink will not run on Windows bootup.
I looked into the task manager and it is enabled.
I do not know what else I can do.
I need your assistance.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi…,

When you start your Flight Sim, and call up Charts, are you able to select and see Moving Map?

If not we need more details to investigate as per FAQ - Information requested when posting an issue - #3

Hello:

Good norming. Simlink does not start with the system. I have to run it manually to see the Moving map.
Here are the required:

Add-on: PMDG 737-700, FS2Crew, FS Realistic, Self-loading Cargo, VATSIM, VOLANTA, REX Weather Force, FSI Panel, Navigraph Charts.
AIRAC Update No: Latest
Problem Details: Simlink does not run on windows bootup, have to run it manually. I even tried to uncheck restart and check again the tick for run on startup. Then I uninstalled and installed it again, but nothing. Same outcome.
Any non-standard hardware or software: Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, Logitech Radio Panel, CH rudder Pedals.

Thank in advance for your help.

Hello,

Please check if you are using any third-party applications for system configuration changes, such as CCleaner, System Mechanic, or any antivirus software that has the feature to modify the startup program list.

Ensure that the Simlink is allowed to run at Windows startup within any third-party application that you have installed.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing the issue.

Hello Mr. Ahir:

I used to have installed CCleaner, but I uninstalled it a week ago.
For Antivirus I have Bitdefender, but I always had that antivirus.
I believe it is CCleaner, but after uninstalling it and then reinstall simlink, it will not run after windows bootup.

Hello,

If you use CCleaner or other system apps that modify the Windows Startup Application list, you need to clean up the registry.

Simlink Registry cleanup is necessary because third-party system applications like CCleaner create many registry entries for startup programs. This can happen for any application you want to auto-start with Windows.

Please follow the steps below to clean up the Windows registry:

  1. Close the Simlink application if it’s running.

  2. Uninstall the Simlink application.

  3. Open the Windows Registry using the regedit command from Run.

  4. In the Windows Registry, search for the word “Simlink” from the top of the Registry.

  5. Delete every registry entry that contains the word “Simlink.”

  6. After deleting all Simlink entries from the Windows Registry, download and install the Simlink application from here.

  7. After installing the Simlink application, log in with your Navigraph user and enable the auto-start Simlink option from the Simlink Settings.

  8. Restart the system and check if Simlink will auto-start with the Windows startup. (Ensure you have reinstalled Simlink plugins for the installed Flight Simulator.)

  9. Done!

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you encounter any issues with the Navigraph Products.
