Simlink not connecting to Navigraph network

When I open the charts in Flightsim 2020, and try to press on moving maps, it shows that Simlink is not open, but I open task manager and it shows that it is open, but when I open the simlink window, it shows that it isn’t connected to the Navigraph network. I have uninstalled and re-installed, Closed and re opened, and even restarted my pc, but nothing seems to work. can someone please help me?

Hi…,

Welcome.

In Navigraph Simlink Settings, I suggest selecting Start Simlink on system startup.

Please post scrrenshot of Simlink Status page whilst MSFS is running:

Cheers
Ian

I already do have the start simlink on startup, and here is an image of simlink while flightsim is running with a flight loaded

Hi,

Can you please check, if any antivirus software is blocking the Simlink application to access the network or if any proxy or VPN setting exists then please disable it and recheck it.

And if you still face the issue please follow these steps.

I need to ask, what is the proxy session in the .settings folder?

Hello!
I have deleted / disabled all forms of antivirus on my computer (including the default windows firewall and protection, and this hasn’t worked either. I also tried following the steps inside of the link you sent. Although that didn’t seem to work, I am wondering if my internet browser could be the problem considering I use Opera GX. Have you seen any problems similar to what is happening to me?

Thanks in advance
James

I have the same problem since 4 days ago. It is becoming repetitive. With or without the VPN is the same.

Hi,

Please check the below troubleshooting points to fix the network error in Simlink,

  1. Unable to reach Navigraph Server. This error will show when SImlink gets blocked by antivirus or other security software. So, make sure you have to allow Simlink to access the network.

  2. If you are using the proxy configuration in your system then please configure the proxy setting to the Simlink application also,

  1. Make sure your system time is auto sync with the internet,

Please let us know if the issue is fixed or not.

Hi,

Can you please check if is there any application which is blocking the Simlink application?

HI @hectorp ,

@RCJames found some malware application on his external drive, and that application is caused by the Simlink block to access our navigraph server.

Can you please confirm whether you have the same issue or not?

Not sure but I don’t use an external drive.
