Simlink does not close after quitting XP12. This causes issues with steam, as steam thinks XP is running, despite being closed. Manually closing simlink fixes this, but is inconvenient. There is no option to force simlink to close after quitting the sim.

Simlink is automatically open with Flight Simulator but it will not close with Flight Simulator on close.
Simlink is support multiple flight simulators including MSFS 2020. And for MSFS 2020 there is no need to install any simlink plugins just need to run the Simlink application in the background.
You have a good suggestion, and we will consider it as a requirement. We will think about it and give possible updates for the Simlink.
