I’ve got the exact same problem with 1.1.21.0329: already completely deinstalled and reinstalled, to no avail. Nothing appears in the systray, ever. No logs are created either.
This is a brand new computer, so I can’t say it has worked before. However, the symptoms are identical to OP’s.
