Simbrief load in MSFS FMS

I tried to load a simbrief in the FMS exactly according to the blog by Andreas Goodhoöm. Unfortunately I get the message ‘Req Pending’ and ‘DL FPLN failed’ and at the end ‘No flightplan’. I have MSFS. and have created a simbrief, IinGame is also installed. What am I doing wrong?
Do I have to save the simbrief somewhere separately?
Thank you very much!

Hi! Thanks for your post. Please let us know which blog post you are referring to and we’ll look into it!

Cheers,

Thanks! Just one additional question, which aircraft type(s) are you using? The blog post is covering the 787, 747 and CJ4.

I using CJ4.
I used airframe ICAO C25C also.
Maybe a hint - I noticed that there was no avionics plugin for CJ4 in navigraph Hub, although I saw this somewhere in a tutorial. I mean Add_ON- Package for CJ4

Hi,

The SimBrief import should work out of the box for the CJ4, no avionics plugin required.

Can you confirm that your SimBrief ID is entered into the FMS? When you click IDX -> NEXT -> SETTINGS, it should look like the following:

I tried entering your Pilot ID into my sim and the import worked fine on my end. Can you confirm if you’re still having the issue? If so you might need to reach out on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums or the Working Title Discord to have their developers look into it, everything looks fine from SimBrief’s end as far as I can see.

Cheers,

Thank you for your support. Yes, the FMS looks exactly the same for me, my pilot ID also appears on the window. Then I go back to IDX and then to ROUTE MENUE. Then nothing happens. When I click on L3 (FPLN RECALL), ‘REQ pending’ appears briefly in green, followed by the message ‘DL FPLN failed’.
Apparently the programme cannot find the file where Simbrief creates it. In which folder does Simbrief store its file ? so that I can check whether it exists. I have generated the Simbrief correctly.
Thank you for your effort, I have subscribed to NAVIGRAPH specifically to use this option for the CJ4 aircraft.
How can send an Image?

SimBrief does not create any files on your PC for this. The aircraft is contacting the SimBrief server directly to get your latest flight plan data.

Can you open the following link in your web browser? https://www.simbrief.com/api/xml.fetcher.php?json=1&userid=232490

If so, then it should work, and the issue lies somewhere in the aircraft or the simulator itself. Since we didn’t develop either of those things, it’s difficult for us to troubleshoot from our end. Please report this on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums or the Working Title Discord, they should be better able to help troubleshoot where the issue lies.

Best regards,

Solved the problem myself, as no idea was found in any forum. A slightly more elegant solution:
Download generated simbrief under FS2020 and start World, load flightplan from downloaded folder.
