how do i use the SimBrief and navigraph in career mode in 2024?
i can get it to work in free flight but not in the career mode. any help on how to set up a flight after accepting a flight in career mode would be very helpful
I would like to use the navigraph charts in the EFB and not the flight planer
Hello! Welcome to our forum.
I have not used the career mode - what is not working for you? Does the icon not show up in the EFB? What kinds of issues do you see?
Kind Regards,
Malte
it’s all there just would like to know how to use it instead of the default flight plane that 2024 has. i have paid for navigraph and would like to use simbrief and navigraph to setup my career-mode flights
I am not 100% sure, but I think the MSFS 2024 Career Mode purposefully limits which third-party addons can be used for some reason or another, and as a result might be blocking access to the various Simbrief/Navigraph panels. Similar to the way that not all third-party aircraft can be used in career mode.

Tim
That’s what i was thinking. thank you
Hi, I am able to use navichart but when exporting route I got mission failed too far from flight plan. So I guess we can’t modify the flight plan as part of the mission. The questions then is how to import to be able to.follow the flight in the app on the phone?
What aircraft are you using? Perhaps you can use the avionics (if G3X, G1000 or G3000) to import the flightplan without altering the career mission?
I know it has been a while, but I hope this may help someone. I was having trouble exporting the career mode flight plans. I kept getting an error. The only option that I have is exporting to web from the EFB, which means the MS web-based flight planner - https://planner.flightsimulator.com/. It turns out that it doesn’t like dashes in the file name.
With that resolved, once the career mode flight is in the MS flight planner, you can go to the briefing page and copy the text-based plan, which can be pasted into Navigraph Charts at the top of the page/“edit route manually”. I haven’t tried yet, but I’m sure you could also paste it into littlenavmap or Simbrief.
Then you can use the flight following app or charts program of your choice. It’s a bit of a workaround, but until Asobo let’s us export career mode plans to a .pln file, it’s what we have.
