I am trying to upload a new weather snapshot in SimBrief. I have loaded the SimBrief Downloader, ASN and SimBrief. When I ask for the new snapshot in SimBrief,
(1) I get the message that Historical Mode will be required
(2) Historical Mode is set
(3) The Active Sky Exporter downloads to 1.0% then stops and stays there.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi, you mention ASN. Do you mean Active Sky Next?
SimBrief weather snapshots are not compatible with Active Sky Next. Active Sky 16 is the minimum supported version, or basically any of the versions listed here: HiFi Simulation Technologies | High-Fidelity Simulation Solutions

I should have mentioned that I am using ASP3D with P3D V5.4.
In fact, this was working fine a while back. I stopped using ASP3D, then just started using it again.
The problem started when I resumed using ASP3D.

Hi, freezing at 1% indicates that your current_wx_snapshot.txt isn’t being updated.
Can you check your SimBrief Downloader settings? Do you have any of the Active Sky overrides enabled?
If so, please try disabling them.
If that doesn’t work, perhaps you have modified your default Active Sky port or weather snapshot location. Please check the Active Sky settings in the images below and update your SimBrief Downloader options to match:

I tried your suggestions but there is no change: it still freezes at 1%.
I restarted Windows before testing.
