Simbrief Dispatch for MSFS2024 EFB

I am running MS2024 SU1 beta and I am not able to see SimBrief Dispatch for MSFS 2024 in the default MSFS EFB, only their flight planner. I used the Hub to un/reinstall in FS2024, also removed and download (again) and re-install the plug-in directly in the Community folder but no luck. And yes, I checked the settings in the EFB, is not there to add.
Anyone else have this issue?

Is this a SU1 issue?

Hello, welcome to our forum!

Hmm, I can’t reproduce this in SU1, so that is unlikely to be the issue.

I understand that you tried to press remove and then install inside the Hub. Did you try manually removing the package from the community folder and downloading the latest version from dispatch.simbrief.com instead?

Kind Regards,
Malte

I have tried that as well.
It’s not the end of the world in needing to use the webapp to create my flight plans.

Odd!

Please follow these instructions:

  1. Start the simulator and load up the EFB, confirming that no icon is shown
  2. Open http://localhost:19999 in a browser while the simulator is up and running
  3. In the list that appears, click the link containing the word Electronic Flight Bag
  4. In the interface that appears, select the “Console” tab located along the top of the screen
  5. Take a screenshot of the contents and post it here - we’ll try to see if the EFB app is even correctly recognized by the simulator! If it is, there should be obvious signs of it in here.

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hi Malte,
Thanks for the reply.
Here is the screenshot of the console. Hopefully something here helps.

Interesting…

Could you upload your version of the simbrief efb app (as found in the community folder) here? You’ll likely have to compress it to a zip file first.

Sure thing, I have removed it from community folder, used the Hub in install, no luck. Downloaded it and pasting it in as well with the same results.
navigraph-efb-simbriefapp.zip (353.5 KB)

Oooh. Never mind, actually, I see exactly what’s wrong. You were running a previous (broken) version of the EFB app and have ended up in a broken state. Easily fixable!

  1. Press Win + R
  2. Type the following and press enter:
%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\WASM\MSFS2020\navigraph-efb-simbriefapp
  1. A folder will open, containing a work directory. Delete it
  2. Start the simulator - everything should now work!

Try this out and let me know how it works out!

Kind Regards,
Malte
