For the last week and a half, two maybe even, I’m no longer able to import flightplans created in Simbrief. Creation works, both in and outside of EFB, but running “Import route” does nothing. Not on Map, not in-flight.
I’ve tried exporting the Simbrief plan to the 2024 PLN file and import it like that, but that also doesn’t work, or at least not correctly. Flight level 200, is imported as 2, only starting airport is imported, but no route or destination, etc., etc.
I’ve tried all kinds of different routes across the world, different airplanes, removed and reinstalled all the plugins through the Hub, manually installed beta versions added to other similar topics, but nothing works. Sometimes the sim even just crashes and exits.
From another topic, I found the localhost:19999 console. I basically see a ton of 404’s, which tends me to believe there’s something wrong with config of endpoints called.
I’m on the latest AIRAC, everything installed through Hub, community folder nearly empty with only fsltl and beyondatc.
So, small update. This morning I created a SimBrief plan for the default 2024 A320Neo V2. Although import on the map didn’t work, importing the flight plan using the Simbrief button on the tablet in the aircraft actually worked as expected.
It still didn’t do anything to the flight plan looking at the EFB of the sim itself, but the plan was loaded into the FMCG of the plane correctly. So it must have to do with the EFB app on any other plane, or so it seems
Could you try emptying your community folder and leaving only the AIRAC and EFB app packages? There has been a change in how package priority works in MSFS 2024 and there are lots of developers who have not adapted to this new scenario yet, which is causing issues.
Ok. so I did a full reinstall of FS2024 and that did the trick.
FYI: Not only hit uninstall in Steam, but also removing the whole folder of FS2024 in the Roaming dir of AppData. Reinstalled the plugins again, everything works as expected immediately.
Only using the Steam uninstall button, did not fix it, I had to explicitly remove the whole roaming folder and reinstall the sim completely.
