Signification of HS x (Hotspot) for Taxiways

Hi all

What is the signification of red circle with mention HS x on taxiway ?
for example in Marseille LFML (HS1 HS2 HS3)
i could suppose that it is restricted taxiway circulation

Kind regards
Thierry

Hi Thierry,

HS is short for Hot Spot. Please see https://www.faa.gov/airports/runway_safety/hotspots:

" A hot spot is a location on an airport movement area with a history or potential risk of collision or runway incursion, and where heightened attention by pilots and drivers is necessary."

Cheers
Ian
