SIGMET areas are only described by coordinates in messages. It is very difficult to determine if the flight route is going to pass through or in the vicinity of the SIGMET area. It would be very usefull to have the SIGMET areas geographically depicted on a map, and have this map included in the flight briefing package.

Hi Philippe,
In the next update, SIGMETs will be added to the interactive map, so you will be able to view them with reference to your planned route. Though they will not be graphically depicted in the OFP flight maps section.

Hello and thanks for your answer. That’s a good point but some people like me only have the OFP « on board » and it would be very useful, if technically possible, to have the SIGMET on the OFP charts too.
