Richland Center 93C is 9SC in TDS GTNXi data

Op System: Windows 11
FS Version: X-Plane 12
Add-on: TDS GTNXi v1.0.0.2
AIRAC Update No: 2503
Problem Details: noticed that Richland Center, WI which is listed by the FAA as 93C (and this is reflected in the Navigraph Charts app) is shown as 9SC in the current data set used by the X-Plane TDS GTNXi.

Hi,
I can´t explain from where the 9SC airport code comes from, but we don´t have this airport code in our database, nor in the TDS database which we offer.

Looking for 9SC- no result (AIRAC 2503):

… and here the same with 93C - returns one result, the correct one:

I´m sorry, but I have no answer to this question, only that we don´t offer any airport with 9SC.

Cheers,
Richard

All I can say is these are the results I’m getting from the instrument in-game

Please report this to TDS; as I wrote before, we don’t have/offer this airport in our database. So I can’t say where this airport comes from.

Thank you
Richard

Hello Richard,

This is airport 93C from Navigraph airports DB, but the TDS GTNXi has a bug where the identifier gets displayed incorrectly as 9SC, it has been added on our fix list. Thank you for looking into it!

Best regards,
Tiberiu

Ahhhh … thanks for the update Tiberiu … so I´m not paranoid

Thank you, Tiberiu; enjoy your day!
Richard

I will update this post once the bug has been fixed.

Thank you very much, Richard! I wish you a nice evening as well.

Hello,

We have determined the cause to be a silly bug on the TDS navdata interpretation end and it has been fixed for both the TDS GTNXi Pro (MSFS) and TDS GTNXi XPlane. It seems that more airport identifiers were affected by this bug.

The bug fix will be implemented with the next release for each version. ver >= 1.2.0.8 TDS GTNXi Pro (MSFS) and ver >= 1.0.0.3 TDS GTNXi XPlane

We thank you for finding this bug and reporting it. Sorry for wasting Navigraph resources on tracking down this silly bug.

Well done. There is no need to apologize, Tiberiu. It´s a great community around the world with a lot of helpful hands - it´s called: “cooperation”

Cheers & have a nice day,
Richard
