Hello there Simbrief developers,
Is the any chance of getting the ability to do redispatch calculations included in Simbrief, or, at the very least, the ability to get information in the flight plan for an enroute diversion. Some Australian airlines, for one, routinely plan for flights of more than an hour or two, a DPA (Decision Point All-engines) - bascially the last enroute waypoint prior to TOD where the aircraft can divert to an alternate airport with certain reserves intact. This is filed as RIF in their flight plans (as you can see on EDI-GLA), and is somewhat tied to how much reserves they take. However, it is also an important part of Australian flight planning as alternate airports are not routinely carried. Even the ability to plan a diversion from an enroute waypoint via a route to an airport would be great - this one area that Simbrief really lacks when coming from PFPX.
The other - I am assuming it would be relatively easy for the user to be able to set per airframe or on the flight plan setup - the amount of reserves in minutes or kilograms etc. that the want remaining after an ETOPS diversion. Would this be possible?
These two things would take Simbrief a long way toward the functionality of PFPX, which, unfortunately, seems to be dying a slow death.
