I really enjoy the chart app and all the new features that are being implemented!
Lately I have noticed that my “Recent airport” list is only showing the 5 last airports, if I search for another airport the one at the bottom disappears from the list. This is both on Charts Desktop and Charts iOS.
Is this something I can change in the settings somewhere? I would really like to have the list growing as I search for new airports
I tried searching in here but didn’t find anything related. I apologize if I missed a post covering this topic.
The limit to 5 recent items was introduced in 8.29.0 to make space for the list of airport favorites. We thought that 5 recent items would be a reasonable amount, but it sounds like you disagree!
What is your motivation for having access to more than 5 recent items? What does your workflow look like in order to benefit from this?
I see, it’s a limit that is “hardcoded” in the app. Then it’s not a setting, no problem. That’s all I was wondering about.
Disagree? Not that dramatic, more like I just got used to having the list expand everytime I searched, hence my question. That is also why I never used the “favorites” function. But I can use the “favorites” for that, no problem for me.
Motivation? Workflow?
None of the above… Again, it’s just been like that for a long time and I got used to the way it worked. So when it changed I just wanted to ask if it was a setting or not, that’s all.
