Are there any plans to add information from the FAA chart supplement or perhaps more simply the chart supplement themselves to the corresponding airports. Right now I have to consult the supplement to get some information navigraph doesn’t have (ie traffic patterns, whether a runway has papi/vasi lights at non towered rural airports etc).

Unless I missed it somewhere, you don’t explain how to get the new sectional update. I closed and opened my charts app and it doesn’t show up. Do I need to download something?

@stephen This is fantastic news! You have “buried the lede”, as they say in the journalism world. Not just “FAA Sectionals”, but high and low IFR enroute charts also. I have never been a big fan of Jepp enroute charts, and quite frankly, was considering not renewing my Navigraph charts subscription. This changes that thought completely. Can’t wait to try it out (as soon as the dog gets off my lap)!

I’m using the ipad. I had to find a link to update somewhere on the forums to get the charts app to update. Perhaps in the future you can include update instructions in the announcement. All is good now. Thanks.
To update the iPad app, you follow the normal procedure for any iPad or iOS application - you install or update it through the Apple App Store.
If the update is not immediately available to you, that is very likely to be due to cache on Apple’s side. We never announce a new release without confirming with both Google and Apple that our apps have been released!
It is quite common for App Store releases to roll out at different speeds depending on where you are. At the time of the release, the update was available on the Swedish version of the Apple App Store, which is all we are able to verify!
So to summarize: If any future update is not immediately available in the App Store, just give it a few minutes and it’ll show up!
