Problem accessing Simbrief

Hello, access to the Simbrief website is restricted. I can’t access it from any device, I connect from different providers. Judging by the fact that a similar topic has been created here recently, this is not an isolated case. When will the problem be resolved?

My IP xxxxxxxxx

I contacted my service provider and they said there was no problem with access on their end.

Hi,
I have deleted your public IP, please avoid to make such details public. It´s only to your own best …

Can you try following:

  • open the a command window via (CMD)
  • and enter than ping simbrief.com

Please post the result, of these output.

Thank you,
Richard

PS: normally such issues are somewhere between you and the endpoint. We have no blockings implemented, so you should reach the site from anywhere in the world.

Hi, thanks for deleting the IP, didn’t realize it couldn’t be posted here
Sorry the screenshot is not in English, I don’t know how to translate the photo

… thanks, no probs.

Do you have any AD-blocker, VPN, Anti-Virus, … software installed? Which internet browser do you use?

What happened, when you enter simbrief.com in the internet-browswer?

Cheers,
Richard

Right now installed a completely clean google browser, but it just keeps loading endlessly. The previous Yandex Browser (local browser in CIS countries), gave this error:

The text in the screenshot has the following content:
Unable to establish a connection to the site.
The connection has been reset.
Try the following:

Check if there is an Internet connection.
Check your proxy server and firewall settings.
Perform network diagnostics

Now I can only access the site with a VPN. The provider states that they also have no ability to block sites and access to it from their side is open. This problem is now showing up in the simulator as well, as the data is not automatically loaded from the site.

In Google browser, the error is similar. I don’t know what the problem could be. VPN, ad blockers and other things are not installed in the browser, I don’t use anything like that when trying to log in at the moment.

I turned off the firewall completely in Windows defender settings to see if that might be the problem in general, but it didn’t make any difference.

I have absolutely no idea what the problem could be, as just tonight (about 14 hours ago) I was using the service in a completely standard mode. Everything was working fine.

And that is a huge problem. It is not as unpleasant and inconvenient to use the service using a VPN built into the browser as it is to use a regular VPN, a subscription to which on average costs as much as an annual Navigraphg

I also tried to add new DNS servers in the network settings. This configuration did not produce any results.

It seems to be an issue on your end, probably with your ISP.

Can you access it on your phone, using a different network/ISP than your PC?

Stephen

Don’t know how it is in your country, but here the cost of a year of Navigraph will buy you about 3 years of a midrange VPN.

There even exist free VPNs which might work for this purpose, although I have no idea which of those is good or even safe and would advise researching carefully before doing anything.

Not that it’s necessarily the solution to your problem, hope you are able to resolve it.

Regards,

Tim

Friends, good afternoon, everything worked the same day, in the evening. Apparently, the problem was at the level of communication failure or something like that. The problem solved itself, as Stephen wrote about it in one of the threads. Thank you for your help and responsiveness in solving the problem. All the best.
