I’m trying to get latest AIRAC cycle into ver 3 of pilot2atc. Tutorial says “point Navigraph pro updater to a specific folder for data conversion. I don’t know how to point updater to specific location. I use MSFS and Navigraph hub. I use MSFS 2020.
Hi…,
Welcome.
You have posted in the Navigraph Hub category. Navigraph Hub is for MSFS and MSFS addons.
Please install and run the latest FMS Data Manager for AIRAC updates to Pilot2ATC
Cheers
Ian
I’ve installed latest fms data manager. Does navigraph support P2ATC VER 3 that was just released. P2atc said it should be available oct/nov
Thanks
Ron
Not at this time, use the function provided by P2ATC to convert the db format.
I need to update my Navigraph Data but V3 does not show in the FMS Data Manager
Navigraph does not yet support the V3 data format. Review the QuickStart-First Flight video. In the first few minutes, it explains how to use the P2A V3 Data Converter to convert your V2 data to V3. Also, if you have made changes to your airport layouts using TaxiMnt in V2, just peform a similar process on your P2ABaseData.mdf file from V2 and you will get all the changes in V3, without a hassle.
@srcooke is right. Pilot2ATC uses its own converter to convert the legacy MSSQL database into the new format. We will provide our own Pilot2ATC v3 entry in the FMS Data Manager in the next AIRAC 2411. Then, you can browse this Pilot2ATC v3 data folder, where the data can be converted as described in the manual.
I hope that helps,
Richard
Extremely helpful!!
Many thanks
Ron
Thanks, Richard. So we still have to convert the data using P2ATC data mnt converter or will it be in the new format required by version 3?
Thanks
Ron.
Hi Ron,
Yes, you will still convert the data on your local system. We “only” add a seperate entry in the FMS Data Manager for Pilot2ATC v3, where you can manually set the path to the convertion folder. The source data are the same as for the previous version.
Possible, that we will offer the converted format in the future directly but there is no timeline todo so at the moment.
Cheers
Richard
Thanks. Thats what i thought
Ron
