It seems like the installation of Simlink was not completed. Please uninstall the Simlink application and install it again. You can download the Simlink installation from here.
Make sure Simlink installation runs with Admin rights.
Ok, Run as admin did the thing…but how should I know that?
You shouldn’t - something interrupted (or otherwise affected) your first attempt at installing the software and it is unlikely that we will find out what. During normal circumstances, you should not need to think about this at all!
