No Simulator Detected Navdata Center

Hello. I’ve flown my MSFS a lot over the past two weeks with zero issues. With the new AIRAC update, I opened the Navdata Center and updated my cycle and went to bed.

This morning I opened up Navdata and I’m getting the “No Simulator Detected”. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Navdata Center approximately 10 times, using different methods of Run As Administrator as well as installing in different locations to no avail. I have the Steam version, and the location of the installation is as follows:

C:\Users\Alex-PC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator

The Packages folder has full permissions.

The User.CFG has the following line with full permissions:

InstalledPackagesPath "C:\Users\Alex PC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages

I’ve checked the registry and it has the location set correctly as well.

I’m currently at a loss and I’ve read the other 10 forum topics on this to no avail. Thank you.

Update: I saw in another thread removing the Fenix helped someone.

I uninstalled the Fenix and it popped right up.

Reinstalled the Fenix and it still works. FYI for anyone who has this issue in the future

Hi Alex,

Thank you for the update. Glad it is resolved.

Happy flying.

Ian
