My information computer, not one used for x-plane 12, just flight information. This is an older Apple computer with Sierra 10.12.6. With this update I no loner get weather, in fact just a basic screen.
The update appears to work on my flight PC, but no useful for me since I’m flying the plane.

With the link you sent, Yes I do. This is an iMac and sometime things don’t run on it. If I click on Weather the weather bar will display, but no weather. The traffic will not display on either VATSIM or IVAO.
The story is different for my PC the I have X-Plane 12 on it seems to be working okay. I have had some update that tell me I need to update my iMac, but it is older and apple has no updates for this computer.
I have checked the network and it appears to be working okay. I use this computer to follow my flight and to look at SID/STAR, ATIS and Airport. I believe I’m up to date Simbrief , but will check that also.
All I can say, the team has been working hard on programing, no complaints here. If you what me to follow up on anything let me know.

Just wondering if there is any update to this problem with no weather or Traffic network not working on my iMac.
I have a PC notebook and it seem to be working okay. I understand it is older, but the weather was working until the
online traffic was added. I have tried looking at the settings and nothing seems to make a difference. The link you sent
does not the same thing no weather or traffic. The flight plan routing works okay.

Do you still have this issue, even with today’s update to v8.38.0? This sounds somewhat familiar to this topic:
In that topic, the user is unable to switch to the “Globe” projection for the map and also can’t see the weather.
To confirm whether or not you have the same issue, please try enabling the globe projection from the settings. Does it work?

Hi,
I believe the issue is from my old apple computer. Its seems to have problems with some of the new programs coming out.
I get my routing okay, but the weather and new traffic mode does not work. I works great on my notebook computer (windows).
Apple is macOSSierra 10.12.6
