NAVIGRAPH MAPS and CHARTS in X-Plane 11 VR

I have been away from x-plane 11 for the past 3 years so forgive the elementary questions - but what seems straight forward in MSFS2020 is not so easy in XP11…in fact it seems like a trip back into the stone age for some things.

MSFS2020 has a simple drop down menu in VR that can access the FULL VALUE OF MY NAVIGRAPH SUBSCRIPTION, unlike XP11 where it seems I can only access a few charts through an antiquated tablet called avitab.

I feel I am not getting what I paid for. It is not easy to - in flight - remove the vr headset to look up values in navigraph maps, weather, ext.

Sorry I do not mean to complain, I guess I’m just asking for help. WAY TOO MUCH TIME TRYING TO GET THIS TO WORK.

Thank you Ian. That answered my question. That response on the other link was 2 years old.

Do you see any possibility that xp12 will enable this in the near future?

Hi,

X-Plane 12 still does not have any such capability as far as we know, so the information in that other thread is still current. We don’t know if and when this might change but we’re monitoring it.
