I know it’s possible to persist login credentials because the GTN750 Panel mod literally lets me use the same charts from the panel without logging in every time. Companies like aerosoft etc like to blame Asobo for too much when it’s their own lack of creativity and youth.
I realize that this issue is annoying, but we would not be complaining without a reason. Our panel and the GTN750 (as well as other implementations) are fundamentally different in a way that makes it possible for the latter to store information in a persisted part of the storage, while we simply can not without compromising security. Anything we store safely is wiped on each restart, which is not in line with the specification, thus the blame.
Rest assured that we want this to change just as much as you do, and we are looking at workarounds, not just complaining. The problem so far is that we have not found a workaround that does not expose your credentials to unsafe environments where they could be harvested by other addons.
