Hi, I don’t know if anyone else has faced this particular issue, but I know there’ve been some similar ones.
I updated the navdata to the latest AIRAC cycle (2405) for X-Plane 11 (using the path XP11/Custom Data) as well as GNS430 (using the path XP11/Custom Data/GNS430). However, the JARDesign A320 (v3.8R1) doesn’t load. When loading the aircraft, X-Plane gets stuck at the ‘Preparing World’ stage (screenshot attached below).
Note that the default X-Plane navdata works for X-Plane’s default aircraft as well as some other aircraft like Aeropedro’s DHC-6 Twin Otter.
Also, when I remove the GNS430 folder from the Custom Data folder, the JD A320 loads, but does not have the current AIRAC cycle in its database. As a result, I get route error messages (SEGM.ER and MISSING DATA).
I also changed the navdata text files to all lowercase (I saw in some forum that this solved issues for Mac and Linux users). In addition, I have restarted my computer several times and re-downloaded the navdata from FMS Data Manager several times. I also re-installed the aircraft, but even that doesn’t seem to help.
What am I doing wrong/what do I need to do to fix this?
