Navdata can't be updated - Inibuilds A350

Thanks Katlyn, that might be the best interim solution then.

I obviously can’t comment for the others, but I just remembered I wasn’t able to get the PMDG EFB to update either. I’ve just tried again with no success (it hangs at about 75%).

I had previously deferred to the Navigraph Hub for PMDG AIRAC updates and completely forgotten about the EFB update method.

Do you think you could send me a screenshot from the PMDG as well? That might help narrow down the issue

Edit: do you have any non ascii characters in your windows username?

Sure thing - and no, no non-ASCII characters in my PC username (verified via an ASCII checker to triple check).

Steps taken prior to test:

Deleted Hub installed AIRAC for PMDG 777-300ER2.
Deleted PMDG 777-300ER folder in “%appdata%.…\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages”
Moved PMDG 777-300ER from temporarily deactivated Community Folder to Testing Community folder (renamed existing to “Community-Old”). The only files present in the testing community folder are the ini A350 and PMDG 777-300ER

Initial load console:

After clicking update NAVDATA:

it then just loops with the same entries, with the EFB status bar not going beyond 75%

Interestingly the currently installed, validity period and latest available entries also never change from the values shown above.

I then tried manually changing the previously provided updated msfs_navigation_data_interface.wasm file in the PMDG 777-300ER panel folder. Results as follows:

Sorry for didn’t reply you…I didn’t pay attention to this post anymore after contacting inibuilds since I thought the problem would be fixed in update, but it actually not.

My issue is the same with haydnb: I can’t update navdata through EFB on iniA350 and PMDG products. Worse still, my issue occurs both in 2020 and 2024. But I have no problem updating the navdata through Navigraph Hub. So I wish that if you can work with inibuilds to add a way to update it through Navigraph Hub, just like what PMDG and Fenix do. I’d be really appreciated if you can do so…

Sorry, I forgot to mention this build wouldn’t fix anything - it’s just additional logging. Are you able to try the filter again and then press the “copy all” button in the console and upload it here?

Thanks. And to confirm, this is the full log? Your screenshots had “request_finished_callback” logged but that is not present here
